Fleadh heads to Wexford for 2024 – Fleadh ag dul go Loch Garman do 2024
Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann announced Wexford as the venue for Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2024. The announcement was made on 11.03.23 following a meeting of CCÉ’s Ardchomhairle at Cultúrlann na hÉireann, Monkstown, Co. Dublin.
Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann has welcomed in the region of 500,000 visitors and generates upwards on €60m for the local economy.
Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2024 is set to take place in Wexford from the 4th to 11th of August 2024.

Traffic Management Plan
Draft Traffic Management Plan 4th – 11th of August 2024
- Red – Town Centre Roads/Streets to be closed from 10am to 4am daily.
- Wexford Bridge to be closed to private vehicles from 10am to 4am daily.
- Limited access to Redmond Square for Public Transport & Access to Supermarket.
- Green Routes/Safe Routes – Routes from Ely Hospital to Wexford General Hospital and the Event Medical Centre at the RNLI at Wexford Bridge.
- Joseph Street / School Street / John Street to be made one-way between 10am and 3am daily.
